Dr. Quaid Iqbal is currently working since Dec. 2021, as a Post-Doctoral (Research Associate) at the Center for Combinatorics, Nankai University, Tianjin China.
He received his PhD degree in mathematics with a minor in algebraic graph theory and combinatorics, from the University of Science and Technology of China, China, in 2019. His PhD supervisor is Professor Jack Hendricus Koolen. His major area of research includes algebraic graph theory, spectral graph theory and combinatorics. He has a command over multiple algebraic and combinatorial techniques and published some papers in a high reputed mathematical journal. He is a reviewer of the journal of Mathematics, Modern Physics Letter journal and also a member of American Mathematical Society. He got a National Faculty Development Program Certificate from the National Academy of Higher Education Commission Islamabad, Pakistan.
He is an HEC approved PhD supervisor since Jan, 2021.
He worked as an Assistant Professor (adjunct faculty) at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology. From Sep. 2020- Sep. 2021, he worked as an IPFP post-doctoral fellow, in the department of mathematics, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. During his stay at the FJWU, he supervised an MS student in the field of algebraic graph theory and wins a startup research grant funded by National Academy of Higher Education Commission Islamabad, Pakistan. In 2014, he has been awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) for PhD studies, in one of the top 90 ranked university (USTC) in the world. His hobbies include reading books, hiking, playing cricket and badminton.
